Did you know that…?
The cartridge duration that the manufacturer tells you often do not coincide with what your customers get.
On average, only 48% of the cartridges print what the manufacturer claims.
The difference between the actual durability obtained and that claimed is explained by the following:
- The duration published by the manufacturer is obtained in a laboratory under a controlled environment.
- These tests are performed under the standards of: ISO / IEC 19752: 2004, for monochrome laser. ISO 19798: 2006, for color laser and ISO 24711: 2006 for inkjet.
- These standards factor in such things as environmental parameters (such as temperature and humidity) and usage parameters (such as coverage or number of copies sent each time to the printer).
