When you manage the Nubeprint Panel, you may have noticed that when you enter the Cloud of a printer, in the consumables section, sometimes a red circle appears in the VLS column on the right. Maybe you already know what you have to do, but if not…? How do you solve it…?
The best option is to ask your NubAI assistant (“AI” button on the top left). Let’s see:
Question1: What should I do if I get a red circle in the VLS column of the Cloud?
Answer1: If you get a red circle in the Cloud VLS column, it means that the VLS needs to be synchronized. You must click on the red button to the right of the consumable under the VLS column in the team’s Cloud to synchronize it. Once successfully synchronized, the button will change to blue. It is important to perform this synchronization so that the consumable level alerts are accurate and to avoid negative impacts on consumable management and service costs.
Question2: How do I synchronize?
Answer2: To synchronize the VLS (Virtual Level Sensor) in Cloudprint, follow these steps:
1. Access the Cloud of the equipment in Nubeprint.
2. Locate the consumable you want to synchronize under the VLS column.
3. Click on the red button to the right of the consumable in the VLS column.
4. Once clicked, the Nubeprint system will synchronize the VLS.
5. After synchronization, the button located on the Cloud of the device to the right of the consumable under the VLS column will change to blue, indicating that the VLS is synchronized correctly.
Remember that the VLS needs to be synchronized when the button is red. Also, consumable alerts will not be generated until the VLS is synchronized.
The NubAI wizard has given us the solution in less than 1 minute. For the calculation of consumables and kits needs, Nubeprint uses VLS (Virtual Level Sensors) technology on all consumables associated with the managed machine model. As a result, all the management services are available, such as days remaining thresholds, grouped shipments, performance and coverage analysis, service schedules, etc.
As with network equipment, this procedure requires the initialization of consumables, preferably at the start of monitoring. As indicated by NubAI, you can initialize the consumable from the printer’s Cloud, by clicking on the red circle in the box indicating the levels.
Interact with your NubAI assistant, who will answer any questions in a matter of seconds and allow you to manage the panel smoothly.
